Boost Mobile broadcast content production at the Gold Coast 500

When James Courtney lined up for his home round at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, Boost wanted a piece worthy of the moment. The brief was to celebrate Courtney, promote the Boost and Supercars partnership, and open the event broadcast with something that would travel, built to play live to the crowd and to a national television audience.

What Was Delivered

Cielo led the concept and the planning, then ran the production from start to finish. The piece brought together Boost ambassadors from across action sports, moved through memorable Gold Coast locations, and worked in the brand's hero vehicles, including a drift car and a freestyle motocross bike. Cielo managed the ambassadors and the vehicles, ran the onsite filming alongside Supercars and Boost, and coordinated the live moment that tied the piece back to the event itself.

Shot across two days in September 2025 and more than 12 locations around the Gold Coast, the piece opened the broadcast and reached a national television audience of 385,000. It pulled more than 10 Boost ambassadors into a single story, landed the live moment on the day, and gave Boost the opening piece it set out to make.

The James Courtney piece landed end to end, he even teared up watching it. It was the best piece we have done.
